Jonathan Bowker is a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with a foundation built on more than a decade of acute and critical care nursing. Before transitioning into psychiatric care, Jonathan spent over 13 years at Penn Medicine in Philadelphia, working in acute care settings, where he developed a deep understanding of how physical and mental health intersect in high-acuity settings.
Jonathan earned his BSN through an accelerated program and later completed his MSN in Nursing Education at Drexel University. He went on to complete a Post-Master’s Certificate in Psychiatric Mental Health Nursing at Wilkes University in 2025, bringing his clinical experience into focused mental health practice. He holds active RN licensure in Pennsylvania and New Jersey and is board-certified as a PMHNP in Pennsylvania & New Jersey.
In addition to his civilian nursing career, Jonathan enlisted in the Air Force Reserves in 2006 and then went on to receive his Commission in 2017 in the Delaware Air National Guard, currently holding the rank of Major as a Flight Nurse with over 20 years of service. This military background has reinforced his commitment to calm, precise, patient-centered care under pressure.
Jonathan brings this combination of critical care expertise, military leadership, and specialized psychiatric training to his work as a PMHNP, with a focus on providing compassionate, evidence-based mental health care.
