Nurse Practitioner

Anett Cherkassky is a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) specializing in the treatment of anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, and trauma-related conditions. She is dedicated to providing compassionate, patient-centered care that integrates evidence-based psychiatric treatment with holistic lifestyle approaches.

Originally from Brooklyn, New York, Anett earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Wagner University in 2022, where she began developing her clinical foundation and gained experience working with individuals facing substance use disorders. She went on to earn her Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner degree from Florida Atlantic University in 2025, driven by her passion for understanding the mind-body connection and improving mental health outcomes across diverse populations.

As a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner, Anett has experience working with the elderly population, addressing complex age-related cognitive, medical, and psychosocial needs. Her approach to care emphasizes the integration of lifestyle modifications - such as mindfulness, movement, and overall wellness - alongside appropriate pharmacologic treatment. She believes in nurturing both the body and soul, recognizing that lasting mental health requires a balance of emotional, physical, and psychological well-being.

Outside of her clinical work, Anett enjoys staying active through rollerblading, Pilates, yoga, and skiing. She is also an avid traveler who finds inspiration in exploring the coasts of Europe and indulging in diverse culinary experiences. She values living a balanced, fulfilling life and brings that same philosophy into her practice with every patient she serves.
